Me, myself is first time to go to Fukushima. Therefore checking the place and share you the information for your consideration to stay

Hot Springs around competition site

Found that there are mainly 3 Hot Spring near Shibuya Cup 2024 venue. I plan to stay at the hotel near Fukushima Station and will visit those hot springs by day trip basis. But if your budget allows, there may be a choice to stay at the hotel one of those hot springs. You may experience more for Japanese culture.

  1. Iizaka Onsen ; (飯坂温泉)Seems a bit far but they seems good to crawl around the town. There are 9 public bath for a day visit. I think I will visit there the day I arrive at Fukushima and before check in the hotel, will move there by train to drink beer after the hot spring. According to my research , most of the public bath are for locals and they prefer very hot spring.( Hako Yu) (波来湯)seems to have moderate temp bath also. Therefore, I will try the nearest one at the Iizaka station.https://iizaka.info/9-public-baths-and-3-footbaths-ashi-yu/

  2. Takayu Onsen ;(高湯温泉) Seems most of the hot springs are at closed area inside the hotel. Could found only one public bath for day trip. please scroll the linked home page down and you will find ATTAKA YU .(あったか湯) (The web site is only written in Japanese, please translate your google plug in) ATTAKA YU YouTube However searching the YouTube, some people commented that it is closed sometime. I think You`d better to call before you visit. (tel: 024-591-1125 ) I think your taxi driver or archers shooting next to you may speak enough Japanese
  3. Tsuchiyu Onsen ; (土湯温泉)There seems only one public bath also. please scroll down you will find Indian lady introducing the bath. It seems Tsuchiyu Onsen is the closest from the competition site. NakanoYu(中の湯)is a public bath and they seems to have
